Tribal One among six firms awarded a spot on up to $200 million Air Force contract
Tribal One is among six firms to earn a place on a potential seven-year, $200 million contract to provide construction and maintenance services to the U.S. Air Force. The contract focuses on projects aimed at promoting transportation safety and efficiency.
Tribal One will be participating as part of a joint venture with Avery Asphalt of Denver, Colorado. The six awardees were selected from among 14 offers through a competitive acquisition process
Under this Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), firm-fixed-price contract, the six contractors will compete for task orders to build and maintain roadways, bridges, airfields, runways and parking areas at five military air bases and the U.S. Air Force Academy, according to the Department of Defense.
The contract was awarded by the 50th Contracting Squadron, which operates from Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado.
