Tribal One/Avery Asphalt Joint Venture gain two paving task orders at Fort Carson

Tribal One and its joint venture partner Avery Asphalt have been awarded two task orders for paving projects at Fort Carson in Colorado.

The task orders are part of a five-year, multiple award contract awarded by the 50^th Contracting Squadron for paving projects at military airfields along the Colorado Front Range. The joint venture with the Colorado Springs-based Avery Asphalt is one of six companies competing under this multiple award contract.

“Tribal One and its partners are becoming an important resource for upgrading facilities and services at military installations across the Front Range,” said Tribal One Development CEO Brady Scott. “We are pleased to be in partnership with Avery Asphalt on these projects to improve conditions at Fort Carson as well as future projects on bases throughout the region.”

Under the first task order, the team will address paving issues throughout the base. This will include repairing and sealing cracks in asphalt roads and parking lots.

The second task order calls for the replacement of the parking lot at the post’s golf course. The team will remove and replace existing asphalt, from two inches up to the full depth, along with existing walkways, ramps and a concrete pad.

“Just like any city or town, roadways and parking lots are an essential part of daily life on any military base,” said Tribal One Construction Executive Erik Sell. “We are glad we can do our part to improve the quality of life for the service men and women at Fort Carson.”

The task orders are part of the ongoing work of the Infrastructure Branch of the Engineering Division of Fort Carson’s Directorate of Public Works.
