Secure Infrastructure Upgrade for Space Delta 8

Colorado Springs, CO – Tribal One announced today that the 50th Contracting Squadron has awarded the company a contract to remodel and certify several office rooms within one of its secure buildings. The goal is to meet open storage certification standards for specialized materials.

As part of the renovation, Tribal One will implement upgrades to support the building’s secure operational requirements. This includes modifications aligned with open storage standards and other protective measures appropriate for the facility’s mission. All work will be conducted in accordance with applicable security protocols and in close coordination with base personnel to ensure compliance and discretion throughout the project.

This project will run concurrently with another award for the construction of a specialized facility within the same building. Tribal One has partnered with JBI Construction, a seasoned federal contractor with a strong presence at Schriever Space Force Base, to execute much of this critical work.

Because the project is located within a Restricted Access area of the base, additional clearance and coordination will be required to ensure compliance with the building’s site-specific security protocols. Tribal One has previously completed work in this sensitive area and will provide Security Escorts to oversee subcontractors and project personnel in accordance with base standards.

The building is currently occupied, and work will continue through the winter months. Special care will be taken to ensure that the project scope and presence do not disrupt the mission-critical operations that occur daily within the facility.
