Tribal One to upgrade Special Forces Group training facilities at Fort Carson

Tribal One will install interior and exterior improvements to three buildings in the 10th Special Forces Group complex at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Tribal One Construction (T1 Construction, LLC) is performing the work under a $780,000 sole source award from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Omaha District. The work includes designing and installing exterior lighting, improving the turf at the training facilities, installing new lockers in a building and upgrading fencing to improve security in this sensitive location.

“Our team successfully completed several contracts at Fort Carson and is now working on several additional projects at this installation,” said Jessica Campos, project manager. “Making these necessary upgrades and improvements to the Special Forces Group Training Facilities is an important contribution to our nation’s security while continuing our solid relationship with Fort Carson and the Army Corps of Engineers.”

Campos said Tribal One will work closely with USACE officials to ensure all safety and quality control requirements are followed. “It is imperative that our work does not interfere with active training schedules nor with current security, safety and training operations,” she said.

To complete the project, Tribal One is working with several local businesses that have experience working at Fort Carson. These include Mod Squad (for fencing), Syn Lawn (for turf improvements) and Diller Electric.
