Tribal One upgrades visitor amenities at Arapaho National Recreational Area
Tribal One is improving the visitor experience by replacing vault toilets throughout the Arapaho National Recreation Area (ANRA) surrounding Lake Granby in Colorado.
Tribal One Construction (T1 Construction, LLC) is performing the work under a $479,000 award from the U.S. Forest Service and funded through the Great American Outdoors Act.
“We will be working in several very popular locations that receive heavy recreational use year round,” said Tim Beltz, Tribal One project manager. “Visitors fill these sites to capacity in the summer months for fishing, hiking, picnicking or just sightseeing. Our job is to make sure that facilities at these sites can accommodate the summer demand.”
Work to be conducted at several ANRA locations includes replacing a temporary facility at the AA Barn site and replacing two existing facilities at Meadow Creek and the Junco Lake Trailhead. Beltz said staging and replacing these vaults in very tight quarters requires experience with planning and executing strategic measures.
To provide additional expertise, Tribal One is teaming with Custom Design Fabricators for vault toilet installation and L.B. Foster Company as the supplier.
“This project is another great opportunity for Tribal One to work with quality subcontractors like Custom Design Fabricators and L.B. Foster,” Beltz said. “Our ability to build great teams puts Tribal One in a solid position to quickly and effectively perform replacement and installation projects in even the most remote locations.”
