Scope highlights include:
- Completed all design, permitting, easement, installation, termination, splicing and testing task for the project.
- Fiber outside plant was constructed underground as well as aerial.
- Underground included trenching, plowing, and directional bore including a 3,100-foot under-bay crossing.
- Aerial included multiple overwater spans with a single span of greater than 1100 feet.
- Project details included the field engineering; creation of drawings; permitting, right of way, and easement application; traffic control planning and implementation; pole attachment make ready; underground and aerial support infrastructure placement; fiber placement to include lashing or other overbuild attachments; hand-hole and other vault placement; locating tasks for existing underground facilities; core drilling; rack and equipment installation; fiber optic splicing and termination; fiber optic cable testing and certification; environmental management and restoration; and coordinated handoff of services.
- Total fiber placement of nearly 20 miles required for this project.
