Tribal Outreach and Communications, FDA Center for Tobacco Products

Tribal One assists the Center for Tobacco Products in maintaining its relations with federally-recognized American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes. Team members work with the Office of Compliance and Enforcement to develop compliance education and outreach efforts to support the continuing collaboration with tribes to achieve compliance with the Tobacco Control Act.

The Project Includes

• Updating the agency’s outreach and communication plan to reach tribes, tribal organizations and other tribal stakeholders.
• Developing communication and outreach efforts defined in the plan.
• Facilitating tribal consultations.
• Disseminating information to tribal leaders, tribal organizations and tribal stakeholders.
